We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to assist with the provision of Opioid Antagonist Treatment

 7 x 8-hour day shifts = 56 hours per fortnight (Part-Time role)   

Competitive salary of $53,487 - $56,494 + penalties + superannuation

About the Role: 

We are currently looking for a passionate and driven nurse to join our team. Successful candidates will be part of a team responsible for delivering comprehensive, professional and quality nursing services within a Correctional setting, working across all days of the week, on a rotated basis. This role is responsible for assisting with the provision of the Opioid Antagonist Treatment (OAT) program to Patients at Junee Correctional Centre and perform role related administration tasks as required. 

This is a Part-Time role, providing 7 day coverage, 8-hour shifts (including every second weekend). Day shift only! 56 hour fortnight includes paid meal breaks! The annual salary for this role is $53,487 - $56,494 + penalties based on working 56 hours per fortnight.

Skills and Experience: 

You will need to have:

  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated competence in organisation and administration skills.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and responsive within the workplace.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, within the organisation and with external parties.
  • Experience working with health records or experience with medical office work is preferred however not essential.
